AWS Adds Microsoft 365 Integration to Amazon Quick in Preview

Amazon Web Services has introduced an integration between Amazon Quick and Microsoft 365, in preview. The extension allows Quick to perform tasks with extensions for Word, Excel and PowerPoint, allowing AI to perform complex tasks including redlining documents, building financial models and creating presentation-ready decks. The extensions transform daily work across teams, streamlining tasks and workflows.

Amazon Quick is AWS’s generative AI assistant for enterprise applications. By connecting it to Microsoft 365, AWS aims to extend AI-driven analysis into commonly used productivity tools, making data exploration more accessible to non-technical users.

The update is intended to support business users who rely on spreadsheets for reporting and decision-making, enabling faster access to insights and reducing reliance on specialized data skills. Organizations are increasingly embedding AI into productivity tools to improve data accessibility. Amazon Quick extensions are available in preview in US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Europe (Ireland), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Europe (Frankfurt) and Europe (London).
