AWS Adds Claude Opus 4.8 to Its AI Services Portfolio
Amazon Web Services has added Anthropic’s Claude Opus 4.8 model to its AI platform offerings, expanding access to advanced foundation models for enterprise customers. Claude Opus 4.8 is available through AWS services, enabling organizations to build and deploy generative AI applications using Anthropic’s latest large language model technology. The model is designed to support tasks such as content generation, reasoning, analysis and enterprise workflow automation.
AWS said the addition strengthens its portfolio of AI model options available to developers and businesses through its cloud ecosystem. Anthropic’s Claude models are already integrated with Amazon Bedrock, AWS’s managed service for building generative AI applications. Amazon Bedrock keeps your data within AWS infrastructure and provides access to Claude Opus 4.8 through a unified service with AWS-managed features like Guardrails, Knowledge Bases and regional data residency.
