AWS Adds Anthropic’s Claude Fable 5 Model to Its AI Portfolio
Amazon Web Services has made Anthropic’s Claude Fable 5 model available through its AI platform offerings, giving customers another foundation model option for developing and deploying generative AI applications. Fable 5 is state-of-the-art on nearly all tested benchmarks and delivers a step-change in autonomous knowledge work and coding for developers and enterprises building production AI applications. The model joins a growing roster of third-party and proprietary AI models available through AWS services.
The model can run for extended periods on complex knowledge work and coding tasks without intervention, representing a fundamental shift in the types of problems customers can solve with AI. Customers can access Claude Fable 5 either via Amazon Bedrock or Claude Platform on AWS.
AWS said the addition reflects increasing demand from organizations seeking flexibility in model selection as they evaluate performance, cost and governance requirements for AI deployments. Customers can access the model through AWS’s AI ecosystem and integrate it into existing cloud-based workflows and applications.
