AWS Introduces Continuum to Remediate Security Risks at Machine Speed

Amazon Web Services has launched AWS Continuum, a new offering designed to help organizations manage cloud operations, governance and infrastructure at scale through a more unified framework. AWS Continuum for code vulnerabilities, available in gated preview, works the full lifecycle of a vulnerability at machine speed. The service is intended to provide enterprises with centralized visibility and control across AWS environments while simplifying operational management and policy enforcement.

Confirmed exposures then receive fast, reversible mitigations within your guardrails, followed by durable fixes that route through your own review and deployment process, with blast radius visibility and rollback. AWS Security Agent penetration testing and code scanning are now available as Continuum penetration testing and Continuum code scanning (preview).

According to AWS, Continuum brings together automation, governance and operational insights to help organizations standardize cloud deployments and maintain consistency across teams and workloads. The platform is designed to support enterprises managing large and distributed cloud environments, where operational complexity can increase as adoption grows. AWS Continuum works alongside your existing AWS security services, including Amazon GuardDuty and AWS Security Hub.
