AWS Quick Suite Adds User Preference Controls for Personalization
Amazon Web Services has introduced user preference controls in Amazon Quick Suite, designed to give individuals more control over how they prefer Quick to look, feel and work. Chat panel layouts can be customized with a default chat agent, with chosen personalized settings saved as the default for each time users log in. The update allows users to set personal preferences for dashboard settings, including default display options and viewing configurations. The feature helps users tailor their analytics experience without requiring administrators to modify shared dashboards or underlying configurations.
Additional to the update, users can tell Quick what to call them, what their area of work is so that responses can be personalized and relevant. Amazon Quick Suite, originally called Quick Sight is AWS’s comprehensive, generative AI-powered business intelligence platform that makes it easy to analyze data, create visualizations, automate workflows and collaborate across the organization. By adding user-level preference controls, AWS aims to make it easier for organizations to support different user needs while maintaining centralized dashboard management. Demand for self-service analytics tools continues to grow as organizations seek to expand data access across departments. The User Preferences feature is available in all AWS regions where Amazon Quick Suite is available.
