TIBCO Unveils Data Science Offering on AWS Cloud
TIBCO Software Inc. unveiled a new data science offering exclusive to the Amazon Web Services Inc. (AWS) cloud.
Coming soon to the AWS Marketplace, TIBCO Data Science will reportedly let data scientists share resources and collaborate using Big Data and machine learning capabilities, with data security and governance built in.
The offering comes as part of the company's Connected Intelligence platform, which TIBCO says is designed to simplify the execution of data science projects by eliminating complex coding. To do that, code-free workflows are provided to support data transformation and machine learning, while also providing deep integration with Jupyter Notebooks.
"Machine learning and the broader AI space are the cornerstones in our strategy to humanize information," said Matt Quinn, TIBCO's chief operating officer, in a statement this week. "By providing streamlined access to TIBCO Data Science, TIBCO decreases companies' time to insight, providing a uniform view of data to uncover new business opportunities. As analytics adoption increases across the enterprise, TIBCO's collaboration with AWS will provide organizations with the necessary tools to outshine the competition."
