Application Management DevOps Tool Offered on AWS Cloud
Cloudsoft Corp. today announced its hybrid cloud application management DevOps tool is now available on the Amazon Web Services Inc. (AWS) cloud platform.
The Cloudsoft Application Management Platform (AMP) now can be found on the AWS Marketplace.
Featuring policy-based management and best practices embedded within reusable blueprints, the Cloudsoft AMP tool is designed to streamline development, operations and governance for all applications no matter what infrastructure they are on.
"When procured through the AWS Marketplace, Cloudsoft AMP is pre-configured for AWS Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) worldwide which means AWS customers can be productive immediately," said company CEO Duncan Johnston-Watt in a statement. "Out of the gate they can deploy and manage a wide range of applications and services on AWS EC2 while taking full advantage of AWS's global presence. In addition, AWS customers can rapidly develop blueprints as they look to model and migrate their existing applications to AWS EC2 or create new cloud services."
The company said using Cloudsoft AMP in collaboration with an AWS cloud account involves the following:
- Run a Cloudsoft AMP on AWS
- Use Cloudsoft AMP to deploy applications to AWS and to provide in-life management of them (all AWS regions are automatically added to an AMP)
- Use Cloudsoft AMP to migrate applications to AWS
- Use Cloudsoft AMP to enable a hybrid cloud strategy -- run applications in/across multiple public/private clouds
