Rackspace Adds Professional Support Services to AWS Offerings
Managed cloud specialist Rackspace today announced it's adding professional services to its offerings on the Amazon Web Services Inc. (AWS) cloud.
The San Antonio company, which trademarked the term "Fanatical Support" for its services, announced Fanatical Support for AWS Professional Services to help customers migrate to the cloud and understand their AWS environments.
The company said the move aligns its AWS offerings with this month's launch of a professional services initiative aimed at a broader set of global enterprise customers.
Three critical areas of support are addressed with the new managed service program, the company said, including: architecture strategy and guidance; cloud migration; and cloud automation.
"AWS-certified architects and engineers will work with customers to enable their journey to AWS, helping to ensure they achieve maximum performance, agility and cost-efficiency," the company said in a news release today.
The company's Web site invites interested parties to request a free quote for the new services.
