Anthropic's Claude 4.5 Haiku Now Available in Amazon Bedrock

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has added Claude 4.5 Haiku, Anthropic's new lightweight model, to Amazon Bedrock. The model offers near-frontier reasoning and coding performance comparable to Claude 4 Sonnet, but at significantly lower cost and higher speed. Haiku 4.5 supports vision, multi-agent orchestration and computer use tasks, making it suitable for latency-sensitive applications such as real-time customer support and financial analytics. The model is available globally via Bedrock's cross-region inference network.
The addition strengthens Bedrock's position in the growing market for scalable, cost-efficient foundation models. Haiku 4.5 maintains the original uniqueness of Claude but delivers results more efficiently for production deployments. This launch signifies how innovative launches from AWS give customers greater flexibility to deploy agentic AI systems that combine speed, context and affordability.
