AWS Partners for New Agentic AI Marketplace

SuperOps unveiled a new agentic AI marketplace for MSPs and IT teams, developed in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS), with a beta slated for September. The company introduced the effort this month alongside community programs and a global hackathon.

SuperOps is a software company that builds an AI-powered IT management platform for managed service providers (MSPs) and IT teams, offering a unified PSA-RMM product, for Professional Services Automation and Remote Monitoring and Management.

The hackathon is being held to promote the company's new SuperOps Agentic AI Community, which in addition to the marketplace features resources such as an agent wishlist, discussions and more.

SuperOps positions the marketplace as a way to operationalize autonomous agents for common IT workflows, while AWS provides the underlying agent stack and distribution pathways through Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and the new AI agents & tools category in AWS Marketplace.

Agentic AI Marketplace
SuperOps said its Agentic AI Marketplace is designed as a trusted destination for ready-to-use agents, with a September beta, targeting tasks like ticket triage, alert remediation, and onboarding. The company said the SuperHack Hackathon (powered by AWS) features a total prize pool of up to $100,000.

Arvind Parthiban, CEO and co-founder of SuperOps, said: "This launch marks a significant turning point for the IT industry. We're giving MSPs a way to tap into real, autonomous AI that can solve their day-to-day challenges and help them stay ahead. Partnering with AWS makes it possible to scale this across the industry and bring powerful, usable agents into the hands of teams that need them now."

AWS Angle
AWS recently introduced Amazon Bedrock AgentCore (preview), a set of services to deploy and operate AI agents at scale. In its launch post, AWS writes: "You can now discover, buy, and run pre-built agents and agent tools from AWS Marketplace with AgentCore Runtime. With just a few lines of code, your agents can securely connect to API-based agents and tools from AWS Marketplace with AgentCore Gateway to help you run complex workflows while maintaining compliance and control."

AWS Marketplace Context
AWS also opened an AI agents & tools area in AWS Marketplace that lets customers find third-party agent solutions and deploy them via AgentCore Runtime or connect them as tools through AgentCore Gateway; AWS highlights that the listing experience is designed for Partners to showcase MCP and A2A protocol support.

Availability and Regions
AgentCore is in preview, with availability noted for US East (N. Virginia), US West (Oregon), Asia Pacific (Sydney), and Europe (Frankfurt).
