Armor Anywhere Consumption-Based Pricing Now Available in AWS Marketplace

This week Armor, an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Advanced Technology Partner, announced the availability of its Armor Anywhere solution in the AWS Marketplace with new consumption-based pricing and enhanced log management services.

With the new consumption-based pricing, customers will no longer be charged for unused services and can pay as they go, while the improved logging capabilities should provide customers with "actionable insights to eliminate threats."

"The market for cloud-based security services is expected to total close to $9 billion by 2020 [according to a Gartner Inc. "Market Trends: Global Demand for Cloud-Based Security Is Growing Through 2020" report]. To us, this signals an increased dependence on cloud offerings and demand for additional security controls," said Armor founder and CEO Chris Drake in the announcement. "There now lies a unique opportunity to accelerate the delivery of additional security features to cloud, and AWS customers now have the ability to further increase the breadth of their security controls and prevent downtime with simple and immediate deployment of Armor Anywhere."

Armor Anywhere is powered by Spartan, a threat prevention and response platform for the private, public and hybrid cloud that, according to the AWS Marketplace description, "outthinks and outpaces threats at the speed of the cloud." In addition to providing protection to critical data and applications, the hybrid IT security service meets PCI DSS and HIPAA compliance requirements and supports Amazon GuardDuty, AWS CloudTrail and Amazon CloudWatch.
