San Francisco AWS Summit Full, But You Can Watch Online

Amazon Web Services Inc. (AWS) informed its customers that next week's AWS Summit in San Francisco is full, but opening presentations will be streamed online.

"Due to overwhelming demand for the AWS Summit – San Francisco, we have closed onsite registration," the company said in an e-mail yesterday. "Please join us from the comfort of your home or office for the live stream of the Keynote with Dr. Werner Vogels, CTO, Amazon.com, and the Fireside Chat featuring Andy Jassy, CEO, Amazon Web Services and Amazon Infrastructure."

For developers and others who register for the streaming, those opening sessions will begin at 9:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. PDT on Wednesday, April 19.

However, technical bootcamps, for which registration costs $600 (summit registration is free), won't be streamed.

Upcoming summits are planned for Washington in June, Chicago in July and New York in August.
