Cloudnexa and Partners Launch Bundled AWS Cloud Management Suite
Cloudnexa, Trend Micro Inc., Sumo Logic and AppDynamics are all teaming up to launch a consolidated management suite for the Amazon Web Services Inc. (AWS) service.
The new Cloudnexa Premium Managed Services -- designed for midmarket customers -- combines the Cloudnexa Cloud Management as a Service offering with machine data analytics provided by Sumo Logic, application monitoring from AppDynamics and Trend Micro's security capabilities.
The Cloudnexa portion of the bundle also includes its vNOC cloud management platform, which features cloud-cost monitoring, real-time auditing and security governance.
Users can purchase the services as a single package through Philadelphia-based Cloudnexa, which is an authorized AWS reseller and Premier Consulting Partner. Customers will be billed for using the four companies' services on a single invoice.
"What makes this offering different is the 'as a Service' packaging, which delivers utility pricing, for a simple monthly fee equal to a percentage of the client's monthly AWS spend," said Cloudnexa CEO Joel Davne in a prepared statement. "No up-front investment is required."
Besides Cloudnexa products, the Premium Managed Services bundle includes the Sumo Logic Log Management and Analytics Service, which analyzes the entirety of a customer's log data, regardless of type, location or volume; the AppDynamics Application Intelligence Platform, which provides real-time application monitoring; and the Trend Micro Deep Security as a Service offering, which is specifically aimed at providing anti-malware, intrusion detection and other security capabilities to cloud customers.
