Managed AWS Security Service Offered
Threat Stack Inc. today announced a managed security service for enterprises using the Amazon Web Services Inc. (AWS) cloud.
Oversight is a "hands-off security monitoring service," the company said. Rather than taxing internal security and operations teams, Threat Stack said, the new offering provides companies with access to the company's own security experts, who take care of deployment, configuration, fine-tuning and management of the ongoing security monitoring. When threats are identified, Threat Stack notifies the customer to take action.
"As more and more companies run their businesses on AWS, continuous security monitoring has become a must-have vital measure against threats," said CEO Brian Ahern in a statement today. "With our Oversight service, we're not only protecting AWS workloads, but removing the burden of managing the process, giving IT and ops teams back valuable time to grow their business."
Pricing details weren't provided, as prospective customers need to fill out a form to contact a sales representative.
